History is written and rewritten every day. It is not simply the past, but always in process. Poised between then and now, this typography workshop combined seasoned design principles, tools, and techniques with the digital technologies of our time to open future perspectives. Calligraphy meets copy & paste, Bauhaus meets bitmap. The resulting works – mainly layout drafts and posters – are of palimpsest-like quality and reflect a multilayered working process based on multiple acts of overwriting, reworking, and recombination.
